Create a welcome environment for Christian faith in school |
Any parent who has enrolled children in school knows the difficulties of reconciling faith with what children see at school. Oftentimes, children will say, “Why should I do it when the other kids don’t?” In the face of negative peer pressure and other discouraging factors, our work of raising children in faith becomes much more difficult.
We are dedicated to helping parents overcome these obstacles. By encouraging parents to get involved at school, or to start a Christian school with their local church, Faith & Family empowers us to take back control of the environment in which our children learn. |

Teach children the importance of prayer for everyday life |
A prayer life does not just form by chance, but by nurture and encouragement. Parents are the model that children follow. Therefore, teaching children to pray begins with our own example that we set for them.
Our foundation encourages children to begin praying early, in order to develop a life-long love of praying, and to inherit a rich prayer life that they can enjoy throughout their adult years.

Build a culture that instills in children a sense of esteem towards their Biblical heritage |
| Children who learn to have a sense of pride about their faith can practice it confidently in the face of any obstacle. They can also become better beacons of the light of Jesus Christ to the world around them. This pride is not arrogance, but rather self-esteem about themselves and the rich Biblical heritage that they have inherited. We hope to restore this treasured status of the Christian faith in our children. |

Develop curriculum that integrates Biblical values at Daycare, Preschool, Elementary, Junior High, and High School levels |
| Choosing curriculum is one of the most challenging aspects of children’s education. Balancing technical knowledge with Biblical learning is a delicate process that must be researched and reviewed. Our foundation is working to develop a research and review system that can be adopted by families, churches, schools, and family organizations. |

Encourage Christian parents to become actively involved in educating their children |
| We help parents to realize their role as the primary teachers in the family. This includes being involved in the school that our children attend, helping them with their homework, and taking charge of their after-school activities. By being involved actively, school does not have to be a time of divergence in the family, but rather another step towards better relationships between parents and children. |

Teach parents how to be role models of faith for children to follow |
| What is the father’s faith role in the family? How can a mother be a uniquely feminine role model of faith? These questions can only be answered by fathers and mothers who have experienced the struggle of raising children in the faith. We hope to gather these experiences to pass on as wisdom and advice to young parents. |

Serve Christian families by developing programs that nurture the children in any city where the family is called to serve God |
| Sometimes families are called to unexpected places around the world to serve God. Often, these cities do not have adequate programs to nurture Christian families. Our foundation is working to help churches and Christian communities around the world to develop programs that can serve families wherever God has called them to be. |
